Managing Gigs & Shows

Adding events with dates, venues, and status.

The Gigs module is an events calendar built around live shows and appearances. Each gig has a title, date, time and timezone, venue name and address, a description, an optional ticket link, and an image.

Status

Gigs can be marked Scheduled or Featured (and are automatically treated as past once their date passes). Use Featured for the show you most want visitors to notice.

Recurring gigs

For a residency or a regular slot, a gig can repeat on a schedule with an end date, rather than being entered by hand every week.

Showing gigs on your site

Add a Gigs Listing element to any page in the page builder to display your upcoming shows there. Most sites put this on the homepage. There's also a dedicated /all-gigs page listing everything.

Search engines

Each gig page is marked up as an event, which is what lets search engines show your dates and venues directly in results. Filling in the venue address and the ticket link makes that markup more useful.
