Using the Page Builder

How pages are structured, and how to build one section at a time.

Pages are built from sections, which contain columns, which contain elements. Think of it as building with layout blocks rather than editing raw HTML.

The structure

  • Sections stack vertically down the page. Each one can have a background style and an optional anchor id for linking (e.g. a "Contact" section your nav menu can jump to).
  • Columns divide a section horizontally. A section can be one full-width column or split into several.
  • Elements are the actual content.

The elements

Twenty block types are available:

  • Text and structure: Heading, Rich Text, Raw HTML, Table, Code Block, Divider, Spacer, Row/Grid.
  • Media: Image, YouTube embed (including vertical/Shorts aspect).
  • Calls to action: Button/CTA (multi-button rows, and #anchor links), Modal, Pricing Table, FAQ Accordion.
  • Live content: Contact Form, Gigs Listing, Projects Grid, Blog Listing, Custom Module.

Your homepage has one extra block the other pages don't: a full-width Hero.

Editing

Open a page from Pages in the sidebar to enter the builder. Add a section, add columns, then add elements inside them. Drag to reorder, and use the settings on each element to adjust its content.

Page options

Beyond the layout itself, each page carries its own header and footer style, an optional hero image, custom CSS that applies only to that page, its own SEO fields, and a Publish at date for scheduling. Unpublished pages can still be shared privately using their preview link.

Templates

If you've built a layout you like, save it as a template and load it again later. See Page Templates & the Gallery.

One thing to watch

A page's URL slug can't collide with a built-in address like contact, sitemap or docs. If you pick one of those, the builder will tell you when you save, and you can choose a different slug.
